Proposed Local Rules

The Courts of Limited Jurisdiction Case Management System (CLJ-CMS) project is intended to provide court efficiencies and enable statewide access to court documents to support judicial decision-making and public access to information.  The CLJ-CMS Project Steering Committee determined that the best method to achieve those objectives was to implement Tyler Technologies’ Odyssey File & Serve (OFS) in all courts that will not operate independent case management systems and to make electronic filing mandatory for attorneys.  These recommendations were accepted by the Judicial Information System Committee (JISC), which governs statewide technology systems pursuant to Supreme Court rule.

The Walla Walla District Court is scheduled to be part of Phase 1 of the OFS implementation with a “go live” date of August 9, 2021.  As part of the preparation for the OFS implementation, the court intends to adopt the proposed local rule regarding electronic filing and service which is shown below. Comments may be made until May 14, 2021.  Please direct any comments regarding the proposed local rule to Judge Hedine at khedine@co.walla-walla.wa.us.  Comments will be published on this website after they have been received by Judge Hedine.
