CERT TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
Community Emergency Response Team (CERTs) training covers basic skills that are important to know in a disaster when emergency services are not available. With training and practice, and by working as a team, you will be able to protect yourself and maximize your capability to help the greatest number of people after a disaster.

This training is available for anyone ages 13 years and up (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

  •  Thursday, Feb 23 from 8 am - 5 pm (Classroom)
  • Friday, Feb 24 from 8 am - 5 pm (Classroom)
  • Sunday, Feb 26 from 8 am - 5 pm (Hands-on Practical Simulated Training)
The classroom and training will be free for the first 40 people. Many thanks to Adventist Community Services for covering these expenses.

Optionally, participants can get vegetarian meals that will be catered by WWU Sodexo. After you RSVP, CHE - Center for Humanitarian Engagement will reach out to see if you are interested in meals. (There is a cost associated with the meals.)
 
CERT ProPac Kits will be offered for $90 (optional for first 20 people who would like one)
